Most single-window or single-door replacements are completed in a single day. A full-home window replacement typically takes one to two days, depending on the number of units. Once you place your order, your products are built to your exact measurements and we schedule installation as soon as they arrive. We will give you a clear timeline during your free quote.
In most cases, like-for-like window and door replacement does not require a building permit. A permit may be needed if your project involves enlarging an opening, changing a door to a window (or vice versa), or adding a basement egress window. We will advise you during the quote and help you understand what applies to your project.
Every install is backed by our lifetime warranty. Frames and sash (our rigid uPVC) are covered against defects in materials for a lifetime, hardware for the life of the product, sealed glass units for a lifetime, and our craftsmanship for a lifetime. If a part turns out to be defective, we repair or replace it free of charge with zero deductible. The warranty is transferable to new owners if you sell. It doesn't apply if the windows weren't installed in line with our instructions or were damaged in installation, or if the damage comes from misuse, abuse, negligence, fire or acts of God.

Big-box store windows are mass-produced to standard sizes and often are not built for our climate zone. Our windows are custom-built to your exact openings, energy-efficient, with Low-E argon glass and warm-edge spacers as standard, and backed by a lifetime transferable warranty. Triple-pane glass is available as an upgrade. They are installed by experienced crews who clean up and haul away your old units.

Yes. Our installation crews remove your old units, install the new ones, insulate and finish properly, then clean up and haul away the old windows, doors, and any job-site debris so your home is left spotless. Removal and disposal of your old unit is included in the quoted price — it is not billed separately.
Yes, please give our crews clear access to every opening being replaced. Before installation day, move furniture away from the windows and doors, take down curtains and blinds, and remove any wall hangings, artwork, or electronics near the work area. If an opening is hard to clear — heavy furniture or hard-to-reach upper-floor windows — let us know during your free quote and we will advise you on the specifics.

It depends on the install method. Brick-to-brick installations include both interior trim and exterior capping. Retrofit installations include exterior capping. We will confirm exactly what is included for your specific install during your free in-home quote.

From a signed order to installation, the typical lead time is 3–4 weeks, depending on the product ordered. We will give you a clear timeline when you place your order and keep you updated as your custom-built units are produced.
If rain or snow makes installation unsafe or impractical, we reschedule rather than work through it or leave a job incomplete. We will notify you by phone or email — whichever you prefer — and arrange the next available install date.
We prefer that you are home, but it is not required for the full day. Stepping out briefly is fine. We just need access to the openings being replaced and a contact number in case the crew has a question.
No. Changes in temperature and high humidity inside the house are a natural result of moisture and can cause temporary surface condensation on the glass. It does not indicate a defective window. Reasonable ventilation and air circulation in the house is the best way to prevent it.
